With over 20 years of experience training builders in the carpentry and bricklaying trade, he studied Site Supervision at the Civil Engineering College, Bircham Newton (CITB) and did his craft training at South East London College, Building Course, and Sydenham Skill Centre. Sponsored by Sir Robert McAlpine, he later worked for J. Durtnells (Est. 1591).
He set up Quantum Builders as a self-employed builder and ran it successfully for over a decade. Since coming ‘off the tools’, he has been training future builders, teaching skills and business acumen to the trades.
